This is an aftermarket raised air intake (snorkel) for the New Defender L663.

We will also include a simple rivnut tool which is needed to complete the install – a rivnut is fitted to the A-Pillar which the top bracket screws into.

This New Defender Snorkel features gloss black top cap (this is removable).

Land Rover Defender Snorkel what does it do?

Although the snorkel may appear to increase your wading depth in deep water it does not – its purpose is to suck cleaner dust free air into the engine so is actually better suited to dry and dusty environments!

Included in this New Defender Snorkel kit:

• Aftermarket Snorkel & fitting kit
• Neoprene patch for bracket (anti-rattle)
• Powerful UK Simple Rivnut tool

The snorkel is made from tough ABS plastic and has a textured finish.

Note: This snorkel is supplied with a metal bracket rather than the plastic ones which can break.

We’ll include a small piece of neoprene which you can fit to the bracket to help tighten up the fit and prevent rattles (has been a reported problem with the Defender snorkels).
